In the Life of a Bartender

Sipping on a well made cocktail is a comfort to me, in more ways than one. It reminds me of my Grandmother who would always have her Manhattan at 5 o'clock. My first experience making a drink was pouring rye and sweet vermouth from my Grandmother's crystal decanters into a tumbler glass filled with ice. She would always request that I top her drink with a maraschino cherry and a touch of her secret ingredient. Grandma taught me how to make my first drink and it still remains my favorite.

At the age of 18 I was introduced to the art of bar tending in a cocktail lounge named "the Sapphire Room". I was lucky enough to wash their martini glasses and quietly I watched how the magic was made. Fifteen years later I have moved from behind the scenes to front and center. I  managed to learn quite a bit about how to make the perfect drink, how to mix and mingle with the best of them and how to make sure no party goer is ever left behind.

With years of service in both Canada and New Zealand, I have learned all of my skills through hard earned experience and I love my job. It would be a pleasure to share my knowledge with you at your next event. Little Miss Drinky Poo will help you throw a party that no one will forget in a hurry.
